Hey DDB family! I hope your week has been going well!
I am recovering from an eventful weekend. Staying awake while working has been a struggle!
Can you believe that we have about 90 days left in 2021! Time certainly does not wait for ANYONE! What are your plans for the last quarter of the year??? A lot can be done in 90 days, don’t give up just yet.
Yesterday (September 27th) marked the third anniversary of the release of my first book! I reminisced on how much sacrifice went into making it happen. It truly felt like the process of conception, labor, and delivery of a baby. After many breaks and help with amazing people who volunteered, my lifelong dream of becoming an author happened in less than 90 days!
As you all, I celebrated my birthday a few weeks ago. It has been my best birthday in a long while. I don’t remember getting so many gifts ever; it has been overwhelming…it feels good to be loved and appreciated. I am grateful for my family, church family, and friends. I’ve been in gratitude mode, and I realized that the life I live now was once a series of prayer requests.
I also realized that I’ve been waiting around for a lot of my prayer other prayer requests to becoming testimonies. It hit me that I have moves to make! I must be more proactive in designing the life of my wildest dreams! When I was must younger, I had a goal to retire by the age of forty. Now, forty is practically waving at me and saying, “see you soon!” While I am grateful to God for my life’s accomplishments so far, I know that I haven’t hit the tip of the iceberg yet.
I have a compelling vision to impact my world, empowering people to live a life of purpose – playing their part in God’s plan for humanity! I want to build a legacy for my children! I want to build enough capacity to be a blessing to nations and generations! I have so much ground to cover; it is time to strategize so that I can hit the ground running! The promises and plans of God require a solid alliance, it is my time to stop half stepping!
I will be shutting everything down throughout October. My church prays and fasts every October; we take out the time to pray and seek God’s face. This year I need maximum concentration. I won’t be blogging, and I will be deleting Instagram temporarily. This is not goodbye, this is see you soon! Keep me in your prayers, fam! I am praying to come back with clarity and solid plans for the future! Love ya’ll!
