I am so excited today!!! IT’S MY HUSBAND’S BIRRRTTTHHHHDDDAAAAAYYYYY!!!
My husband is truly a gift to me, I didn’t know it at first, but now I am 100% convinced. God did not make an accident; he was tailored-made for me. He did not look like he checked all the boxes on my list at first, but he is the best thing I never knew that I needed. The woman that I am today and am blossoming into would be incomplete without his impact.
One of the reasons why the first few years of our marriage were rocky is because I knew new that he was a diamond in a ruff. I didn’t understand how much a man that truly has a relationship with God could evolve over time. Each year I’ve watched him strive to become better in every area of his life. My husband Ayotunde is truly a man after God’s heart, a man of faith, a man of love with a heart of gold.
Marriage becomes enjoyable when you accept each other and agree to make progress together. Progress will never be accomplished if you pick on each other’s flaws and tear one another down continually. Over time, we’ve learned to love unconditionally and cheer one another on along the way. Is it always easy? Nope! Do we annoy one another from time to time? Absolutely! Do we still make mistakes? Definitely! Do we stay there? No way! We move!
Thank you, hubby, for accepting me flaws and all, thank you for teaching me, thank you for being patient with me, thank you for truly loving me, thank you for being an exemplary leader, thank you for your dedication to God’s work and his people, thank you for being an amazing father to our children, thank you for being my real life knight in shining armor, thank you for showing me that true love exists!
I pray that this year will be filled with extraordinary wonders for you. You are satisfied with favor! It is your season of more than enough! Eyes have not seen, ears have not heard, neither has it entered into the hearts of men what God has prepared for you! God makes you a reference point and a gold standard! AMEN!
Fam, help me wish my husband a HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
