Hello DDB family! HAPPY JULY!!! Wow, we made it to the second half of 2021!!!

I am so excited and can not wait to see what the rest of this year holds! I am praying that the rest of this year for you will be filled with good vibes, lots of laughter, progress on every side, and endless celebrations.

We celebrated Independence Day in the USA this pass Sunday! To all my USA DDB fam, how was your celebration? We want to church in the morning, came home to cook and grill some chicken, ribs, burgers and hot dogs! Later on in the evening we went to go watch the fireworks! It was a great day.

How was the first half of 2021 for you? What are your expectations for the second half? {Comment below!}

The first half of the year for me was a process of learning, discoveries, and enlightenment. I’ve learned a lot of things about myself and others around me. The process has changed the way I see things, people, and situations. It has helped me to respond and relate to people more effectively. I’ve also begun to be more forgiving of myself, daily learning to embrace the good and not so good and loving myself on the journey to better. 

I’ve come into this second half of this year with a burning passion for being a blessing to people. Like never before, I want to help people to be happy and fulfilled truly. Life sucks when one lacks direction and succumbs to accepting whatever life throws their way. We all have the ability to intelligently partner with our creator and make a masterpiece of our lives. Like a skilled artist, we can determine the colors and direction of each brushstroke.

At times challenges come against us, and we may experience writer’s block; there are more questions than answers, more concerns than creativity. There is a temptation to fret when all that appears before you are roadblocks; like an endless tunnel, it seems like there is no way out. But God! You can trust the author of your life story; nothing catches him by surprise. He knows how the story ends, and he is on a mission to ensure that you reach the finish line in one piece. 

If we spend more time in intimate fellowship with our father, we would be more at peace. Being intentional about that one-on-one connection will lead to more clarity, brilliant strategies, and renewed physical, emotional, and psychological strength. I always look forward to attending church in person; there is something so refreshing and energizing about God’s manifest presence. It is euphoric and empowering; in those few moments, it seems as if heaven and earth collide and waltz to the tune of eternity. 

But that doesn’t have to only happen at church; that can be an everyday experience if you truly yearn for it. Our days should revolve around our time with spent God; he has so much to say, he has lots of things to show us. It makes no sense to be too busy for our source and sustainer. I don’t know about you, but I am tired of making excuses; we all make time for things that matter. I am encouraging you to joy me on a pursuit to seek God in the latter part of this year like never before! 

A couple of years ago, while getting ready for work, God said, “Never start your day without hearing from me.” I was at a point in my life where I felt like I was collapsing under the pressure of multiple demands. But when I took his counsel, everything changed. In those times of deep deliberations, I was reassured about God’s hand in my life. It is was easy to rest and enjoy each day.

There are voids that only words from his lips can fill. His words are much more than means of communication. They are potent and liberating. His words, when believed, received, and acted upon, have the inherent ability to transform your life in a blink of an eye.

One revelation that has dramatically impacted my life is that the forces that control life are spiritual.

If you want to win in life, you have to invoke supernatural strategies and methodologies. Life doesn’t answer to spectators; it responds to pacesetters. If you want the life of your dreams, you have to make up your mind to be a go-getter! Even when the going gets tough, you must be determined never to give up or let go!

You are alive and reading this right now because God has a solid plan for your life. There is a purpose for your existence on Earth. The world needs you; you are a gift to generations and institutions. You are more than an individual; you are an empire. You are a legitimate citizen of God’s kingdom; it is your destiny to rule and reign! It is time to prioritize your relationship with the King of the kingdom!

DON’T TAKE ANYTHING LESS THAN WHAT RIGHTLY BELONGS TO YOU!!!
