Hello there!!! How is it going?

It’s March already! Oh my, slow down 2020!!!

There is so much going on out in the world today, these are definitely interesting times, with the coronavirus pandemic, it is clear that the world needs a divine intervention. I am not referring to some type of ‘apocalypse’…I am talking about the light of this world, taking its place and shinning in the midst of this darkness! When light shines, darkness can not stand a chance! This is the perfect time to get the truth out, it is the only thing that brings about freedom.

In times like this, the easiest thing to do is to be afraid. Having fear doesn’t take much effort, it is believing the worse; it is a decision. This is a shout out to every Christian out there, to get up and take their place. A time to pray and a time to show the world the benefits of salvation. It is time to showcase love, because perfect love casts out fear. It is time to tell people what you know; true love saves, heals, delivers and sets free. Don’t join the masses, don’t be boggled down by fear, be sensitive and point your sphere of influence to the one who can comfort them and make them whole. God has promised us a good life, which consists of divine health and healing.

Now being spiritual and living by faith does not eradicate common sense, be informed, practice good hygiene – wash your hands for at least 20 seconds, wipe down the surfaces of your home with disinfectant/antibacterial wipes, don’t touch your face without washing your hands, stay home if feeling sick, don’t cough or sneeze into your hands,  etc.

Let’s get to today’s post!!!

So, I have a confession….I have trust issues…

As, I was driving home for an appointment last week, this thought dropped in my mind “I have trust issues!”  A few minutes prior to that moment, I was running behind schedule and I was concerned about being able to get to my daughter’s school to pick her up on time. However, I couldn’t leave where I was; while contemplating what to do, I heard the Holy Spirit say “Don’t worry, your husband will pick her up.”  That sounded good, but I couldn’t get in touch with him. So throughout my appointment, I was worried and distracted.

A few minutes later, my husband called and said that he was on his way.. I felt stupid because I wasted so much time and energy worrying about what had already been settled. This scenario may not seem like such a big deal, but stop and think, have you ever struggled with trusting God? Despite the fact that God has given you his Word, do you still hesitate?  Come on, be real with yourself and think about it.

The first step to getting it together is to acknowledge your current state and making a decision not to stay there. After all, we are all a work in progress, God doesn’t expect perfection, he just asks that we allow him to guide us on a journey of perfection, becoming more like Jesus. The only way that you can truly have an effective relationship with God is by trusting him (Hebrews 11:6). Without trust, a relationship can not flourish.

In the midst of the confusion, disappointments, and uncertainty remember God’s track record. Remember how he got you through in the past, don’t forget your testimonies. Remember that he is a good good father, that he never fails, and that it is impossible for him to lie. Once he’s given you his Word, it is as good as done. Play your part by taking him at his Word, keep reading it, thinking it and saying it until it sinks deeply into you and becomes a part of you.

It is okay to have trust issues, but don’t allow them to linger. Nip them in the bud! Faith is a journey, you progress as you take faith-filled steps. Now, it won’t always be easy, this walk of faith involves risks, it won’t always make sense. But it will work out for your good!

Do you have trust issues? Which area of your life do you struggle with trusting God?

With lots of love,

I feel you! It can be hard to see beyond the present state of those close to us. Trust issues are overcome by constantly focusing on the truth! The struggle is real, but God’s Word is more real!!!

    Hello ma’am

    Thank you for this .
Yes I have trust issues too… Most times I get scared of totally trusting God because i might get let down, I feel it can be disappointing, afterall I put my trust in him what if it doesn’t come out or happen as he said… Then I tell myself I should always prepare for the worst scenario in respective of what God has said, that’s so bad. From now henceforth I choose to put my trust in God totally and have no fear!

You have to remember that God is ever faithful! Faith in him always works, if you don’t get it the first time…go back to the drawing board…he will never fail you!
