Merry Christmas, family!
I truly pray that this holiday season will fill your hearts with joy and hope for more incredible, bigger, and better days ahead! It is always a privilege to celebrate life. It is even better to celebrate the gift of eternal life. And that’s what Jesus Christ came to give. An endless life! Heaven on Earth! Wooohoooo! Yayyyy!
I’m currently relaxing in one of my family’s favorite hotels, about forty minutes from our home. I needed a break from the usual. My parents and siblings are currently in Nigeria because my sister got traditionally married last week. Due to many factors, I could not go, but I’m thrilled for my sister and grateful for Zoom and social media. I was virtually present for most of the ceremony.
Yay! I am officially not cooking for Christmas! This is a first, and I am ecstatic. Some of you doubted me, but I made it happen. If it were up to me, my kitchen would be closed for the rest of the year. This year, I’ve worked so hard, hence “playing hard” is allowed. For the rest of the weekend, I have several activities lined up for the family: movie night, cookie decorating, making s’mores, going to see a Christmas lights display, and ordering food!
I’m not counting calories, nor did I work out this morning. I am loving up on myself and my family and being present, feeling all the motions with gratitude in my heart. My girls are having a blast; a few minutes ago, I overheard my oldest daughter say, “I can get used to this.” I smiled because it’s one of my goals to expose my daughters to the good things of life. The reason why Jesus came is to introduce us to a kingdom lifestyle. I am following suit; the abundant life is my reality. In every phase of my life, I will enjoy and embrace the good while learning from the not-so-good and using those experiences to help others.
I wrote an end of the year reflection piece for Bigcartel I’d like you all to show my some love and check it out: https://blog.bigcartel.com/close-out-the-year-with-the-three-rs
This will be my last post for the year. I want to thank all my readers for your support and encouragement during 2021. This is the first time I’ve posted consistently since starting my blog. It has been challenging yet amazing.
I’m looking forward to where this journey will lead in 2022.

Happy Holidays once again. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year in advance from my family to you!

With lots of love,
